I’d love to see him on a one year deal.

The missing X WR that we need.

Fans will say, you can get those type of WR every year and much cheaper. Cheaper WR yes, but not exactly like him.

I would entertain the idea of LSU WR Brian Thomas as the X 6'4 205 and speed.

Jameson blowing his wad on that gambling means his contract was no longer guaranteed - only the signing bonus. That's the punishment. Holmes can waive him at any time - not that I want him sent packing. Jameson is more flanker and a move him around than an X WR. imo.

I would have liked 3 years as he just finished his year 29 season.

He tore the quadriceps in his other leg just two years ago and then mid-December tore his quadriceps in the opposite leg. I believe it's a good let's wait and see what happens. A Big guy like that and two torn quadriceps might not heal as well. Plus, Holmes and his drafting injured players and signing injured free agent players.

I'd rather go with the current way he's been signed. Maybe Brodric Martin shines during the 2024 season - not that I'm counting on it.

JaMo is a weapon.

But he’s no second receiver.

Had no idea his suspension cost him guaranteed money other than games missed. That’s rough.

Samuel was a guy I liked as a FA. But he got his deal today.

JaMo is a weapon.

Absolutely.
The ACL injury surely didn't help him as he rehabbed and the missed training camp plus an upper leg injury this past training camp and then the suspension. That slowed his learning curve quite a bit.

But he’s no second receiver.
100% correct

NFL rules. I read the whole ordeal sometime right after his suspension.

Samuel was a guy I liked as a FA

He's very good when he's healthy. He had a couple years missing half the games. Holmes should've been ll over him.
With whom did he sign?

I would have liked Gabe Davis but I am OK with keeping Reynolds if that is what they decide. We will see the real Jammo hopefully this coming year too. Never know what you have in a WR until year 3 though:dhd:

He is not going anywhere though.

I'm aware of that and I wasn't suggesting he needs to be replaced but he's also nothing more than a 2-year rental unless Holmes picks up his 5th year option next year. I wouldn't count on that unless they witness massive improvement from him in 2024.

I am OK with keeping Reynolds

80% of his catches this past year were for 1st downs or touchdowns. 32/40 receptions.

He doesn't move my needle much.

His greatest asset is he has chemistry with Goff and usually being a WR that you can count on in clutch times of a game. - minus playoffs with both Lions and Rams.

I thought he did well down the stretch. Not surprised another team snagged him

Meh.
He's a JAG - just a guy.

Alualu took snaps away from and the latter had been couch bound until Holmes reached out to him.

Buggs was a healthy scratch the first 4-5 games while B. Jones replaced him and then Alualu replaced the latter.

If healthy, Reader should provide a huge impact along with McNeill. DC/AG talked about getting McNeill more snaps in 2023 at the 3-tech but Buggs pretty much ruined that plan.

Ja'Lynn Polk might still be around mid-day 3.
6'1 203 VJ-37 / BJ 10'9 / 4.52

Reynolds 6'3 194 VJ-37 / BJ 10'4 / 4.52

Over the last two seasons, he secured 90.3% of his catchable passes, and his contested catch percentage was 52.9%.
He has 9 ¾-inch hands and maximizes his entire catch radius.

Phins felt differently. Signed him early in FA. We have no depth inside now. Martin has potential. I dont even want to hear Levi's name again. Commiski and Paschal are just passing downs

He is very good in regular season for sure. Needs to figure out how not to choke in the playoffs. Probably going to bring him back. If he does it again then he will be toast. I am OK either way the coaches roll on him.
