2 year extension... I'm on the fence. Hard to give an aged trench player top dollar at this point in his career. He wants to be paid like a top 3 interior DL, and in reality its just bad business to pay someone for past play.

That said, he's still a critical piece to this team. They don't have anyone waiting in the wings that can replace him. Benton is coming along but needs to take a big step forward. Larry O isn't that guy. This team isn't equipped to be without him yet. So a 2 year extension can be stomached.

Fautanu is the starting RT... Moore has already said numerous times how he's uncomfortable at RT. Moore will be lucky to make the team if he doesn't show some level of competency as a flexible swing OT.

It's typically sink or swim for 1st Rd picks. You rarely invest that capital and be afforded the time to groom them. And they'd have to suffer if Moore started. Everything about Fautanu's tape says he's pro ready. If he sits, then that says more about Fautanu not being the prospect he was touted to be.

It's always inconsistent... But 6 games is standard policy for DV cases. Unless of course there is video evidence. That seems to be the winning ticket to serving a full season long suspension.
