Yeah not sure about this one other than being a Smith guy. Can't run block well but I guess is a good "extra" pass blocker and seems efficient in pass catching.I think they have enough TEs
Don't know if I believe this either:
Feels like Barton & Frazier are the top guys right now... The luster on JPJ has died a little but I'm still big on him. He dominated the 'best' competition at Senior Bowl. But honestly I'd be happy with any of those guys. The main question for the Steelers is, do they risk waiting until the 2nd Rd? When they would almost assuredly need to trade up to grab one of those guys, or hope a less polished prospect like SVP falls. All signs point to them waiting until the 2nd. Unless they can find a trade back scenario where they could grab both OC & OT in the top 50. That would be a homerun. So the draft is next week. What are we thinking here? Feels like if he’s there (and he should be) Barton will be the pick. I’m good with this. I think he’s the top center in the draft. Not a big JPJ fan like everyone else. Actually, would rather Frazier to JPJ even.
The other big needs are OT, WR, and CB. But I’ve got a boner for Maason Smith. Should be there in the third? We aren’t going to fill all the needs. Something has to give and hopefully they just take best player available and not reach to try and fix everything in a single draft.
Really like Ricky Pearsall for the Steelers.
Stoop and Muth on the same field. The chants would be almost too much.STOOP IT!
Agree on the WRs... And for a team that prides itself on finding WR gems in mid rounds, it would be quite a difference if they drafted one in the 1st Rd.Lol. Stoops should be available as a UDFA?
I think if an OT falls that could be the pick. I'm just expecting them to go higher.
Would love to see a trade down. I don't want a WR outside the big three at 20. Maybe if they trade down? Just don't see a ton of difference between WR4 and WR10.
There's a T-shirt design somewhere in this... STOOOP & MOOOTH Chain-Moving CompanyStoop and Muth on the same field. The chants would be almost too much.
Maybe, maybe not. But I'm talking about him at the end of Round 6. I'd take him there, since we don't have a 7th.Lol. Stoops should be available as a UDFA?
