Gotcha. I mean it'll be interesting to see... A number of successful teams have a good TE but yah, is it worth a top 5 pick? I get we're drafting 16 so if Bowers is there, there can be an argument.

End of day I'd rather we just stick with DL/OL or Penix/Latu lol, BUT I can't grade the Hawks negatively if Bowers is there and we take him. We're talking a #4 vs. a #16 pick, very different.

I don't view TEs at the same level as RBs because a quality TE can play at a high level for 10+ years in the league. But I do think that most TEs take several years to develop into what they will be and you wind up having to make a choice on a 2nd contract right as they are developing into a good player.

thats true a TE can easily put in a long career, but like RBs they can be had after round 1. kelce and andrews were round 3, kittle was round 5, gronk was round 2.

Jayden Daniels. I think he's Fields 2.0. He's more accurate than Fields but he's extremely slow to process (takes forever to throw) and took a lot of unnecessary sacks. He also had a great set of OTs and WRs..... he probably wont wherever he likely ends up.

I'll answer it this way:

• If the O/U on number of top 4 QBs working out to be long term quality starters is set at 1.5, I'll take the under. In decreasing likelihood of them being good, I list them:
  1. JJ McCarthy
  2. Caleb Williams
  3. Jayden Daniels
  4. Drake Maye
• Brock Bowers. A few have already pointed it out, but the last several 1st round TEs have just been big misses or at the very least not worth the pick. Pitts may still have some time, but in general the NFL seems to be really bad at drafting TEs.

Dunno about you guys but I'm going to be quite annoyed if we draft another DB this year with our 1st selection.

Woolen is one of the better cover corners in the league, Witherspoon was a top 5 pick and balled out, Love was one of the better safeties in the league, we spent more money in free agency on safeties... why the F do we need ANOTHER DB with a 1st round pick?

I think they just go bored picking Fautanu. I think there is a 0% chance we tack someone like Mitchell. Corner is one of our strongest positions. Not just Riq and Spoon but Brown and Jackson are serviceable nickel corners as well.

If we stay at 16, I think we go DL. Murphy or Latu or Verse. Otherwise they go OL.

But I do think we will trade down.

Projects we trade with the Eagles. Given the 16 and 81 and we get 22 and 50.

Not sure they would do that. I think they would rather get a 3rd rounder.

But if they do trade down and still get Fautanu I would be pretty happy.
