2024 NFL Draft: The Quarterback Class

It’s just way too early to decide who is and isn’t a bust from this year’s draft class or to compare them to each other. Daniels had had the best rookie year of any QB this year, but there are a lot of factors that go in to that. I think Caleb will improve with a better coach and a better O-Line. I think this year’s QB class will be great overall - I’m happy my Falcons got Penix and I think he’ll be a star, I think Maye will be strong for the Pats, same with Nix in Denver, JJ McCarthy in Minnesota is the only one I’m not sold on but he hasn’t played all year due to injury - he was the least impressive in college of the 6 first round QBs IMO, but he could be very good as well.

Its still a bit too early. We saw Bryce Young really turn it around about halfway into year 2.

Digging into the advanced stats and Jayden Daniels has more RPOs mixed in and the air yards are 7.3 compared to Caleb's 8.1. Daniels is more experienced and in an easier system. That said, Caleb has twice as many bad throws.

I do think Daniels has shown enough that he probably should have been the #1 pick in most drafts. He is good. I'm just not sure how much of the issues with Williams is the Bears.

lets keep in mind. Young has only had a couple good games. If you are a carolina or Young fan. Sure something to lay your hope on, but lets try not to get carried away.

We've also seen REGRESSION from Stroud.

Definitely need 3-4 years to judge qbs

well...that coming year 3 just might confirm one way or the other. Stroud has dipped a little from year one while Young has shown improvement.

bottom line...Daniels or Williams
1 year is not enough. Glad the skin fans are happy. They of all fan bases should know to not assume after one year. LOL, which can turn in a heartbeat unless all thing were indeed Danny's doings. Seems messsed up but okay, we'll see in another year or two.
