JJ McCarthy is not listed as one of the prospects attending the draft .. Nix or Penix either

Can you imagine all this QB hype, and McCarthy falls like Brady Quinn ??

I think after the Geno Smith, Will Levis, among other QBs it might be best that QB's watch from home. ;)

Only 13 players total attending the draft. That’s cool, they should be spending that special day with their families.

That is right now. The list is likely to grow. In the past it has been about 30 players. I would personally like to see less players attend the draft and enjoy it at home. The invitations are still going out. I like back in the day when I was in grade school when nobody watched the draft and you had about 15 players attend and the war rooms and live reports were more of a thing with the NFL draft.

Now we have to show how people dress to the event, have people from prison announce picks (sarcastic) but the moment of having players from teams and fans from all of the nation announce picks annoys me.

I will always love the nfl draft no matter what but I miss the way it use to be run when I was a kid.

From PFT today:
The NFL will have 13 incoming players at the draft. Not many more than that were invited.

The league wanted to keep it to no more than 15. The goal, per a source with knowledge of the situation, was to ensure that no one lingers too long in the green room in Detroit.

Toward that end, neither quarterback Bo Nix nor quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. was invited. The league didn't have either, we're told, on the projected list of the top 15 to 20 picks.

Both could still go in the top 15, given the number of teams looking for quarterbacks. As noted earlier, the betting markets have Penix as the favorite to go to the Raiders at No. 13.

Good. Last I read the list was at 13 and they were expected to invite more. I think 15 like the old days is better. Took an hour just to announce players and their families in recent drafts.

Who will all be coming to my place to watch it? George will be cooking the steak.

As tempting as that sounds, I'm going to decline this year.

Before he signed with the Chargers, CB Kristian Fulton met with the Broncos, who apparently offered him a contract ... And yesterday ( Fri April 12 )the Broncos has CB Levi Wallace in for a visit ..

This could simply be a case of having some veteran bodies in camp at the CB spot

Or, it could be an indication that the Broncos might be preparing to lose one of their CBs .... Could the Broncos be preparing to deal Pat Surtain on draft night to move up into the top 4 ?

Apparently they leaked and sadly this is not it.

Mountain theme on the sleeves.

Yeah, also no chance of the old school D on the helmet. I really like going back to this lighter shade of blue with the orange. I hope the mountain silhouettes on the sleeves don't look cheesy. Everything I've read tells me that I'm not going to be happy with the new unis.

O/T - I know the Rockies - as they were getting ready for their first season - wanted to have the outfield walls to have the same relief as the front range - meaning some parts of the fence would be higher than other parts. MLB said no, but I think it would really be cool.
