They been playing like one of the best teams in the league for a while

15-7 since their 2-9 start. I doubt there are more than 3 teams in the league that’s played better than them over the last 2 months

Didn’t help that their first 5 games came against liberty, sun, and storm

Yeah, in its haste to try to capitalize on her popularity, the NBA kind of screwed her and the Fever over. They scheduled too many games to close together at the start of the season and several of those games were against the better teams in the league.

Add to that all of the hype surrounding her and those teams focusing their defense on her and it's no wonder that she and her team got off to a slow start.

Now that they've been playing a more normal schedule, we're starting to see her true impact.
