Absolutely happy. I’m complaining about how they’re using a two way roster spot. I just don’t see any upside for Dowtin. He’s insurance in case they take a series an injuries and they can pull him up for a banged up unavailable guard.

I thought Aluma showed some promise and wish they had room. Maybe he signs a G League deal.

There’s multiple schools of thought for 2 way but the primary one is developing guys

The other is plugging in guys who can fill in for injuries, b2b etc

Edwards is the former

Dowtin is the latter


For the Celtics last year Davison was the former and queta the latter (and queta got a standard deal by the end of the year)
