The Cavs have some tough financial decisions ahead after paying Mitchell his extension plus Mobley due for one, LeVert coming off the books next summer (with no cap space to find a replacement) and Allen an expiring contract in '25-26.

It's an idea....but team so far plays a lot better when Allen plays than not. But he's not untouchable.

I'm guessing he's hoping to cash for what he thinks he's worth but trouble is who has it where he'd want to go if anyone would pay that amount ($20 mil+ I'd imagine). Thought I also heard tough to get much back in a sign and trade as this type of deal can only take back half of what he will be paid (so Okoro for Cam would not happen).

My guess is he signs for something like $14-16 mil and stays.

Guessing they are looking to dump salary and Ninag is something they'd try....as well as Jerome. Maybe Rubio's deal can somehow come off books if still on, but not sure. Could also see movong Levert.

He may need to sign a 1 year deal and test FA next summer when more teams have cap space.

Just gotta find the right wing. Ingram wasn’t the guy and he wants $50M. I am glad they are being patient. Don’t just trade to trade. I am interested how this offense looks with Atkinson but either way they need a wing at some point.

He was looking for a reasonable extension of like 13-15 a year for 3-4 years and Dallas was all - “we will get back to you” and then following year he blew up.
