Or maybe I’m not understanding what you were saying @Mecca

I’m just not seeing what bad long term deals the warriors had to offer if Wiggins wasn’t in it
I thought he was until I saw what George said.

I don’t see how that math would work without him.

Math wise it’s the 3 I mentioned

Plus a third team since neither team can claim to be taking back more in salary lol

It all depends on what bigger trades they make (if any). If DLo and/or Vincent are sent out, they will need PG help more than Trent (maybe Dinwiddie or Tyus Jones?)
From what I am seeing online Rob is trying to find a team with salary cap space that could absorb a couple smaller contracts. I am sure he is sweetening it by offering a few 2nd rounders so we can get Trent Jr for the MLE.

This is actually pretty good…imo

That would be a steal.

Tyus Jones is probably crawling back to wash since the cap space dried up and teams who need him can’t sign and trade for him

You keep saying they we’re taking on multi year deals

That wasn’t happening
No it wasn’t.

Which is reportedly why he isn’t a Dub.

Had they not had to eat a bad deal for a single pick, they would have sent him where he wanted to go.

They wanted to do the kind of deal that the Warriors did with Klay.

They would have to be separate deals for each vet min dump. With the dearth of bigs available at his point, they almost need to keep either Hayes or Wood.

Does Wood's contract count as a vet min? He's making more than a 10 year vet's minimum.

I saw Kuz too.

Doesn’t sound like they are as into Ingram anymore.

Nobody but the Lakers looking at Grant.

I personally like Jeremy.

But would rather have Kuz.

I wonder if Nance Jr is available?
Nance would be a decent pickup actually. He plays defense and rebounds.

Maybe the Hawks buy him out if they are planning on starting over?

Do the Wiz sign him back? They've got Brogdon and just used a first on Carrington.

Yeah I agree that would’ve made no sense

The dubs did ok with klay

I would’ve just taken Josh green but it’s fine

Brogdon there and Jared Butler is listed as his backup. Not sure they would want him back.

They have his bird rights and not many teams can still sign or sign and trade for him

Someone will need to get creative

Hawks can't tank, since they don't own all of their picks.

But they have plenty of centers and forwards anyway

They can move him and not miss him much

Nance isn't going to help them win a lot of games. He would fit better on a team that is actually a serious playoff or play-in team.

They traded Murray for basically picks.
