That Harden deal is a lot better than what I expected. No long term commitment. Only 2 years and the 2nd year is a player option. Basically 35 mil per so its workable trade wise if it comes to that.

I still don't get the Clippers overall strategy tho. You're already spending an assload of cash, but basically telling Paul George to go fuck himself.

Nobody wants Zach Lavine or DeMar DeRozan especially for the asking prices of the size of their present contracts and what the Bulls want in return.

They want to not be an embarrassment but also start to workout under the second apron

Yeah, but that's dumb though. You're rich as fuck and already there and have no draft assets. The worst thing you can do is make yourself slightly worse and float in the middle for the next 2 years. Your only moves are either compete all the way or blow it all the way up and recoup what you can

I agree

But it seems 3 years is the max they’re willing to push out

Philly could end up with a lineup of Maxey, Klay, PG and Embiid. Possible

Yup. Makes sense

Some fall off risk, especially defensively

But man that shooting

Woj saying the Thunder acquiring Caruso is eerily similar to the Warriors acquiring Iggy. I hope he is right.

Paul George needs to hurry up and make his mind up. I'm use to free agency opening and all kinds of deals going down. No one is gonna do anything until he does something. I'm already tired of hitting refresh and seeing no news.

Could he inflated to be a trade piece in Feb

It’s their only real path to making a swing
