I also think it would really help the Lakers to not trade Hachimura. He is on the precipice of taking the next step and Redick may be the guy to help him get there. Maybe.

He was a walking trade exception but they had no one to deal with him besides pg13

CP is at the end of his career like James is. I hope the Lakers don't start bringing in older players like James did a couple of years ago when he became the de facto GM and all those old players he brought sent the Lakers into a shithole that I am not sure they have fully recovered from to date. Klay is old enough. CP is too old.

For backup PG duties at vet minimum? Nah. He can play 18mpg or so.
