So Dave Cameron is a moron, can we all agree? That has to be the dumbest challenge of all time.
When i saw the tweet today that they havent been practicing i thought they better not use “being tired” as an excuse. Many of these kids are 2 years removed from being in tournaments where they play games twice in one day.

Sure enough ol’ dumbass Dave comes through. Id argue systems/strategy are even more important to work on/practice when tired (if they indeed were)

Player selection and coaching was their obvious downfall

Although tier two fans typically get made fun of, that one who threw a Crosby? jersey on the ice really did prove a point. That had some meaning.

Always like hearing Canadian players getting death threats. What the hell is wrong with people?!?

I think one of the main issues is that they (Hockey Canada) left several talented guys off the roster. Three top-10 picks from the last entry draft are not on this team. Also, you have to question why Dave Cameron is the head coach of this team, it's not like he has a great resume to start with and part of being a good coach is making in-game adjustments and I just see a guy not recognizing which lines have chemistry and giving them more ice team at the expense of other lines that are struggling.

Also, where is the accountability when somebody takes a dumb penalty, staple said player to the bench to send a message to the entire team.
I watched Canada's press conference after the Czechia game and it was kind of surreal. Lots of we deserved better and doubling down on decisions made and basically zero accountability or indication of growth in decision making. Like even if you make mostly the right decisions and win gold, there's still always things you could do better. Here's hoping someone else at Hockey Canada is willing to make changes and demand better, because it seems like the guys currently in charge won't. This tournament is always best when Canada is at their best.

Finland and Sweden going to OT - Sweden outshot the Finns 20-3 in the 3rd period. 10 minutes of 3-on-3 and then a shootout if nobody scores.

this was the "penalty".
he's getting the Canuck treatment already

Earlier in the OT, the zebras called a high sticking penalty on Finland and yes the stick did graze the visor of the Swedish player, but man oh man, the head snap was worthy of an even-up call for embellishment.

USA vs Finland for the gold. The Finns have been a difficult game for the US in recent years, including this year so it should be interesting.

I think the States will win it easily, too much speed and talent for the Finns.
