To the victors go the spoils, and when you don’t win often, that treasure trove can have a lot of nuggets in it. The Cardinals won their first road game since Week 10 of last season, more than a calendar year, thanks to their 24-10 upset Sunday against the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.

And they didn’t mind puffing their chest out a bit as the speakers blared to celebrate a rather stunning NFL win.

“Matt Canada was at the crib watching that game like, ‘I’m the problem, huh?’ ” one player shouted.

“These guys still stink,” a teammate said in response.

Lost a lot to injury against the Cardinals.

Losing to the Patriots next should be a full-on siren.

Then Colts, then Bengals, then Seahawks, then Ravens.

That's a cupcake schedule, overall. And Ravens might be resting starters at that point. But then, the Steelers are a cupcake team.

Losing out at this point isn't unrealistic. But we shouldn't underestimate NHALS' ability to get two more wins.
