KAT for Hayward straight up? Yikes, bro.
Nope, it was a 3 team trade.

Cha: KAT
ATL: Conley, Multiple 1sts from CHA
MIN: Murray, Hayward, Gay

Trade has issues, but I think close to fair for all. Murray finally settles the PG spot, Hayward expiring allows Wolves to keep core intact long term. ATL fixes its logjam and recoup the firsts it spent. Cha gets it center who fits with young timeline.

They would be crazy to. I think Murray needs to go for them, but this trade is for sure weak for them. I said right I. The post it was outside of reality.

Think they are more likely to deal Trae to be honest.

Valid but with the caveat that in the way way back some greats benefitted from being the tallest, biggest dudes surrounded by white people. Like Russell and to some extent Wilt. Wilt would be really really good today and Russell would be a Ben Wallace type. But all time greats?

Wilt would because he was a legit 7 feet tall and was very athletic. Russell would basically be what you said...Ben Wallace.

I think Minny could have gotten a return like that for KAT last year.

I don’t think so anymore though.

I could be wrong since Danny Ainge broke the trade market last summer, but I don’t think Minny gets more than 1 or 2 firsts with that deal.

Brad is saving his picks for kat….

I don’t get why they didn’t just salvage gobert

Probably could’ve pried the 10th pick out of Dallas

Which would’ve recouped at least 2 picks worth of value back, and gotten a better guy than any pick they’re likely giving up to utah…

He can't and keep his job. Everything went for Gobert, so once Gobert is officially a failure he is done. He needs to make a winning team with him or be out.

Sure but would Wilt be considered a top 10 player like he is now? He'd be great, a hall of famer, but I don't know that he'd have the crazy dominant stats like scoring 50 per game for a season or whatever. Because today there are lots of 7 footers and modern defensive schemes.

Maybe we'd look at him the way we look at someone like David Robinson or Kevin Garnett

Clutch Points: “This was the meeting that a lot of the league was watching to see if Damian Lillard requested a trade, and he absolutely did not. In fact, from what I understand, the tender of the meeting was that he doesn’t want to put pressure on the Blazers, that he wants to see what they do in free agency, and that he’s going to give them time to do that. So this is an interesting strategic move. He said at the end of the season ‘give me veterans’. The Draft came and went, but no veterans. He’s still not pressing from what I’ve been told.” — Brian Windhorst

Wilt?

He’d be closer to Shaq than say….Dwight Howard.

Not bad…imo

He's not putting up 50 a game, but I think he'd be good enough to still be a top 10 guy.

We consider Kareem top 10 and Wilt did well against him even though he was a bit older when they played against each other.
