I can't call the Spurs the worst franchise in the league. They've had some down seasons recently. But they aren't the worst.
Is there a Knicks package that makes sense? Not seeing one...
Okay.
Did they deserve Robinson back in the day?
At Horford's age... we're probably looking at 1 more year with him... at least at a high(er) cost.I think depth players are going to need to be cheaper than Horford, given they just added $36M for Zinger and have Brown's extension upcoming.
Me too.
Can’t imagine what they would even want from the Knicks.
5 firsts…Can’t imagine what they would even want from the Knicks.
Marcus deserves a tribute threadI disagree, slightly.
Boston had an unbalanced roster... guard heavy. This move helps balance things out.
There is also the added/improved draft capital to factor in.
The big risk is the potential for injuries to torpedo the C's chances of a title. But aside from that, this move is a net positive.
Seem like odd trade partners.
What am I missing here?
I can see why the Knicks would want PG-13, but I don't really see who the Knicks have that the Clips would want?
Brunson? Quickley?
Or would this signal that the Clips are now leaning towards blowing it up?
I think the last part
He's under contract for this coming season +1.At Horford's age... we're probably looking at 1 more year with him... at least at a high(er) cost.
He and his contract are fine... for one more year.
It's not until after the upcoming season that the new $$$ rules really get punitive.
I think the last part
At $9.5 million in '24'25, yes. He's under contract for this coming season +1.
I think I would go to Portland to get a deal done instead?
See, if they're blowing it up, now that the Blazers appear to be committing to Dame, sending PG to the Blazers for the #3 and contracts seems like a good deal for both teams.
