i've ignored it since the worst franchise was handed him

I can't call the Spurs the worst franchise in the league. They've had some down seasons recently. But they aren't the worst.

They don’t deserve him

That makes it the worst

They didn’t deserve Duncan either

Is there a Knicks package that makes sense? Not seeing one...

It’s only if they’re blowing it up

It’s randle, other filler and many firsts

Okay.

Did they deserve Robinson back in the day?

I think depth players are going to need to be cheaper than Horford, given they just added $36M for Zinger and have Brown's extension upcoming.
At Horford's age... we're probably looking at 1 more year with him... at least at a high(er) cost.

He and his contract are fine... for one more year.

It's not until after the upcoming season that the new $$$ rules really get punitive.

Too much hype for a kid that's yet to score a point in the NBA. And yeah I know that's typical, just don't like it,.

But I do like that he said he'll play in Vegas summer league.

Gonna makes sure not to miss his debut.

I disagree, slightly.

Boston had an unbalanced roster... guard heavy. This move helps balance things out.

There is also the added/improved draft capital to factor in.

The big risk is the potential for injuries to torpedo the C's chances of a title. But aside from that, this move is a net positive.
Marcus deserves a tribute thread

A great Celtic. I think he will be back in two years

Seem like odd trade partners.

What am I missing here?

I can see why the Knicks would want PG-13, but I don't really see who the Knicks have that the Clips would want?

Brunson? Quickley?

Or would this signal that the Clips are now leaning towards blowing it up?

Must be. But it also seems odd that they would pivot so quickly to blowing it up after being involved in a 3 way trade for Brogdon. It's like their only plan to try to improve the team was Brogdon and when his health didn't cooperate, they just said "Fuck it...rebuild".

He's under contract for this coming season +1.

I think I would go to Portland to get a deal done instead?

See, if they're blowing it up, now that the Blazers appear to be committing to Dame, sending PG to the Blazers for the #3 and contracts seems like a good deal for both teams.
