I have a hard time seeing them trade all 3 PFs and not Powell
Shit! That’s even better. Marcus Morris is cooked now. I would much rather get Powell over Morris. I like your idea better. I just don’t see the Clippers parting with Powell AND Mann. I see Powell being the compromise guy. Here’s what that would look like. This is more complicated than the trade machine allows because of Harden’s trade kicker.
1. They may need to involve a third team because of the cap situation of both Sixers and Clippers being limited in taking extra money. Someone with about 5 million in space would have to take on like an Amir Coffey Furkan Korkmaz or Danuel House in exchange they get a 2nd from the Sixers or Clippers for doing so.
2. If Harden wants Clippers bad enough, he may be enticed to waive his trade kicker. I’m not sure if he has the ability to do so.

Picks and expiring contracts are usable

Reports this summer were morey would do that so he could make a future trade

Expecting more than the jrue deal since you can’t extend harden is a tough sell
Yep.

The most interesting thing, imo, would be how Embiid reacts. I could see him towing the company line for a while, but if it drags on too far into the season, he's gonna pop and start saying stuff.
The best thing for everyone would be if he were to truly pop in practice.

Morris and Powell gets you most of the way there on their own.

One less body needs to be moved.

i,m a longtime celtic fan,but the 76ers need to move asshole harden before the season starts,he,s gonna ruin the team if they keep his sorry ass around
The Sixers can exit in the 2nd round again like they always do with James Harden being a malcontent. The carrot is the cap space his expiring contract creates next summer coupled with Tobias Harris 39 million coming off the books as well.

of course...thats why you trade him for expiring contracts and picks...it gives you a step forward.

the other risk for Philly is that the best FAs out there will be.....

Harden
Harris
Maxey

and that....would not be good for them lol

You think Mann and Batum and a first is a better take than Time Lord and Brogdan and 2 firsts? I don’t. The assets in this deal are well below what Holiday brought back.

Morris be cooked but Covington?
Also cooked. Those guys both are salary filler but not bad salary filler as they are on the last year of their deal.

If you mean a fugaze hamstring injury that keeps him away from the team then I agree.

Batum has to go. If the Sixers are doing this they have to come out of it with a serviceable wing role player.

And who in the next summer FA are you landing that is a super duper difference maker?

Have you ever looked at it yet?

Harden can walk and you can do a sign and trade for a 20 million player with Tobias Harris and that leaves you another 10-15 to shop for a role player plus the midlevel exception.

That’s 3 pieces that you can use to round out the roster. OG Anunoby who played for Nurse will also likely be a FA. Sixers could offer him 30 million a year if he opts out and then you have the midlevel exception as well.

How many teams do you think are going to have $30+ million in cap space this summer? Sixers will be one of the few and likely the only contender. Why wouldn’t OG Anunoby consider the Sixers?

There’s no way in hell I want the Sixers making Miami better. On top of that the Heat have fuck all that can help the Sixers. The best I can come up with Caleb Martin and the fat corpse of Kyle Lowry. That deal is ass.

They gonna do all that to still lose in the 2nd round?

It’s expiring deals and picks

You pick your flavor of expiring deals
