Depth is over rated. Like you said. Starters play monster minutes come playoffs. Celtics already did the depth thing with no room for solid players to get minutes. Didn’t win them a championship. They went to 7-8 man rotation anyway come playoff time.

Disagree re: depth being overrated. Yes, in the playoffs the stars play more minutes and rotations are generally reduced to 7-9 players. But during the regular season, depth is what allows star players to cut back on minutes so that they are rested for the playoffs.

Yea it just not in the cards for him which im fine with as long as he continue to take the middy at a high rate
The elbow is a great spot for him. He can play make from there AND knock down the midrange 13-17 footer.

I get it. The core of your team is Methuselah level old so it’s foremost on your mind. Celtics star players are Brown and Tatum and they’re young and can handle the grind of the schedule better than LeBron and Mister Glass Brow.

You're losing this one bud. Depth always matters in the regular season because you're not playing your top dogs 40+ mpg then have to take injuries into account as well

If you mean a fugaze hamstring injury that keeps him away from the team then I agree.
No I mean Embiid doing to Harden what should have happened a long time ago

You also want some room to develop younger players

There's a lot more to it than just the age of the star players. Even young players can get fatigued playing heavy minutes during the regular season. In a playoff series...give me a rested and healthy Lebron and AD...and I'll take that over any other duo that's had to play heavy minutes all season, especially in the later rounds.

This is hilarious considering all the shit wiggy love to talk about bam when it comes to Mobley

Not a bad comparison but I'm sure he would like to expand his range further than Bam. Other than that, I can see why he is doing this

I’m talking primarily about the Celtics. Their depth does little for them come playoff time. That franchise has already accomplished massive regular season shit. They need to close. I stand by the idea that depth is overrated. For the most part 75% of NBA games are decided in the 4Q. That’s closing time and it’s your top 7 doing that.

Keep in mind much of what I said about the Celtics apply to my Sixers as well. Doc played 11 all regular season, number 1 in the East. Did nothing come playoff time.

Haha! You’re calling for one player to get in a fist fight with another player. Why can’t you just own the fact that you have a visceral hatred for James Harden? It’s sad. Show us on the doll where James Harden hurt you?

I’m doing it again…here come screen shots from the trade machine (my favorite app). If rumors are true that it takes Mann and a first round pick to get this done, this is what it would look like in order to make the money work. Sixers are taking on 4 and sending out 2. The Sixers would have to cut 3 guys. Clippers can’t take on any extra money and Harden’s trade kicker takes him from 35.6 to 40.6 million.

He is going to Miami and we will pivot to Brogdon.
There’s no way in hell Morey trades him to Miami. They would have to blow them away and the Heat can’t blow them away. They don’t have the assets. If he does that Embiid immediately begs out.

If he does that he’s telling embiid his plan is to flip the two firsts jovic and Jacques plus salary for another star.

Just not sure who that is
