Na, the whole article was based on this not happening until the trade deadline and that OKC would only give up a ton of picks.

Then they aren't really interested. They'd have to match salary, and Portland isn't going to take a Bertans/Dort/Oladipo package.

You can't play someone at PG that refuses to take a jump shot. Even the point forwards like Lebron take a lot of 3 point shots.

His only reasonable role is like Draymond Green's.

That doesn't mean they'll trade him for 50 cents on the dollar though. Miami needs to come with a reasonable offer that makes sense for both sides, likely finding a 3rd or 4th team to get the proper assets.

I just don't see them going into the season with this hanging over their franchise like a dark cloud....it's a really young team.

If that's enough for them to sell low on their biggest asset, then maybe they need new leadership in the front office.
