Magic is like the ultimate concierge for other sports. He's a "face" fans will get behind ->because everyone knows who he is, everyone likes him<- and he always has a ton of positive energy.
It's easy for him to "stay in his lane" with other sports. It has been great with the Dodgers because he could focus on shaking hands, kissing babies and doing what he does best...just being Magic.
In basketball? That can be tricky because, as you point out, he considers that to be his expertise, so it's harder for him to not try to interject.
It covers saying you will refuse to play while under contract, which he did.As his agent or the players assoc I’d be appealing that.
Most nba writers said the cba didn’t cover insulting an exec

I repeat….Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of.
He’s a part of the 6ers.
Morey is a part of the 6ers.
It infers he will refuse to play.
Dude is a Dumb ass, right after the Dame memo.
The NBA has issued a warning to all 30 teams, stating that any player who publicly or privately suggests that they will not honor their contract if they are traded to an undesirable team may face disciplinary action. Damian Lillard's case is cited as an example.

Better headline, I guess. How hard is it for them to say
Harden fined for threatening hold out vs calling him a lar?
Or was that the dude on twitters Job? Lol
(Was that shared here?)
Watching him a bunch he has two problems on defense. One is his physical limitations. Even when dialed in, he’s not a great defender. Two, he’s not consistent with his willingness to play team defense. He rotates poorly. He often gets caught watching the ball.
Things had to get pretty bad for Silver to find a backbone. It’s a players league, I get it, but allowing players to say they won’t honor their contracts had to stop. I have to think some owners were upset, and some players as well.
Lmao the players association is not wasting time on this clown

The NBA announced today that Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden has been fined $100,000 by the NBA for public comments on August 14 and 17 indicating that he would not perform the services called for under his player contract unless traded to another team. The league’s investigation, which included an interview of Harden, confirmed that these comments referenced Harden’s belief that the 76ers would not accommodate his request to be traded.
Yes they will, even if they don't want to. It's why they exist in the first place. They may be a little less "vigorous" in their defense of him than they might be with another player...but they will defend him.
He’s an empty suit and a liar. Harris is having buyers remorse over hiring Morey who he thinks in turn only had eyes for Harden. Harris saw that it wasn’t working out with Harden and it’s Harris and others in ownership that told Morey not to commit further to Harden. I think Morey gets fired after this season.According to The Athletic, Sixers owner Josh Harris said on Monday that he’s working to convince Harden to remain in Philadelphia, but isn’t closing the door on a trade.
“I respect James. I want to, obviously, accommodate what he wants,” Harris said. “At the same time, I have to think about a championship-contending team, what we can get back. I’d love to convince him to stay. I understand that that’s not what he wants to do right now.
“I’m going to keep working to resolve it in a way that everyone can live with and is positive for everyone, whatever that resolution is. … I respect him as a basketball player, and as a person. It’s back to, these are, you’re dealing with people, right? And you’ve got to be there. We’ll see where it comes out.”
Had no idea about this lmao@bksballer89
Is this what you meant by CLOSE?
I had no idea….lol
Go Clippers, Go Thunder, Go Aces!!
However, whilst Lyles is largely amiable and smiling, Richardson shoots from the hip and her hackles are easily raised, grudges not let go easily.
Such was the case in a bitter break up with her Jamaican girlfriend 100m hurdler Janeek Brown.
Richardson and Brown became embroiled in a bitter claim and counter claim of mental, physical and verbal abuse.
Brown said Richardson's going public about the relationship had been "malicious and calculated."
Yaaaassss! Sixers have a chance to sign the 6th center for the roster. Let’s fucking go. Come home JaVale!
Adam Silver is a failure. This is happening on his watch. It covers saying you will refuse to play while under contract, which he did.
