From like 7 years earlier? No way Harden was this bad back then. On top of it all, Westbrook was very much used to having his way too, but work was not something he minded.

I thought that’s what you meant before about okc not really wanting him back

If presti knew, the players would know

All I said was there were signs. I’ve always said that because that is what I heard locally, way back then.

Presti didn’t make the decision to trade Harden when he did because he saw this coming.

It was a financial decision.

Harden was a budding star still on a rookie contract and all they got was Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb and 2 firsts.

They traded Harden because they couldn’t afford to pay him the following summer.

They most certainly could have afforded to pay him. They made the decision not to pay him and pay others instead. I am of the opinion, with some local knowledge, that Hardens dimeanor was a factor. There is no doubt that avoiding the luxury tax was going to be a much bigger issue with him than without him as well though. Like I said, water under the bridge at this point.

Interestingly Presti is staring at an almost identical situation in the next 2-3 years. That’s what happens when you are good at your job.

I'm not sure that not wanting to trade assets for KAT means a tear down. The Wolves would want their key pieces and picks back.

Throwback to the interview when Jaylen Brown said he’ll have 5 rings by age 28.

He has 2 more years to win 5 championships. LOL.

I don’t think the mourning period is over yet. You need to give it another 3/5 years before you can say this out loud.
Bullshit. Halos? Does anyone remember some of the trouble he got into? He was a basketball player not a saint.

Jim Morrison and the Doors were fun but not the epic band they were propped up to being for a time. We exhalt those who die young. It’s summer time and ESPN doesn’t have much to report on so they manufacture a Kobe day.

What else would you call 8/24? Clearly meant to be Kobe day, not ESPN dependent.

Going to disagree with you on the Doors. Short lived, sure, but a very unique and yes epic band. That debut album is a definite classic.
