Harden opted in because it was the only way he was making 35.6 million this year.

Has nothing to do with my correction. When referring to a sign and trade you said “something that could have been done in July.” Sixers had no ability to do any sign and trade in July. After losing two picks for tampering charges last year, the Sixers didn’t negotiate with Harden before July 1st as per the rule. There was no Harden negotiation. He panicked when Houston dried up and he opted in.
