Let's not talk about dwight so he wasn't a great player because he fell off at end of his career

If you actually break down their accolades, Dwight is the better playsr until further notice

There is a difference between accolades and actual play. As I mentioned, injuries have hurt AD.

Dwight doesn't have AD's handles, passing or shooting range. He only comes close defensively and even there, Dwight is pretty much limited to the paint.

1) 16 only. Very low number for a team that just made the finals
2) On the road for 12 of their first 16 so early season schedule will be tough
I'd say since we got 17.....though depends how many are TNT, ABC and ESPN as those are thought of as true marquee, I think.

Kind of like that rough start as looking good if you get through it.

He has not had a better career.

But peak AD is 100% a better player than peak Dwight Howard.

Comes down to what the top 75 is.

Is it the 75 players with the best accolades?

Or the 75 best basketball players of all time?

I will take Dwight full career over 9 seasons of AD which is what they did with the 75th anniversary team

All about how you interpret what top 75 is.

Because Dwight fell off huge after his first 9 seasons. So to me what AD does or doesn’t do from now on is irrelevant to who the better player is.

An argument could be made that neither are top 75 all time players, for some of the reasons mentioned when comparing them.

And it’s a balance

Durability is definitely a factor

Brown was overrated early in his career but became that dude and probably became underrated due to his durability issues and lack of team success

Dwight got his ring on AD's coattails, sooooo...

Seriously though, injuries have hurt AD in that regard, but when healthy, he's the better player and it's not particularly close.

Look at who he dragged to the finals

That team had no business making it there at all.

Nobody arguing that AD has better accolades

Gonna be interesting to see AD this season...according to an article and pics I saw yesterday...he has (finally) bought in on playing the 5 spot more and has bulked up a bit.

Now he needs to stay healthy.

Yep what he was doing with those Orlando teams was epic.

Leading a team with Redick, Nelson, and Lewis (anyone else i'm missing) into the final 4 in B2B years

We saw AD as a #1 and it ain't pretty
