If they do a deal with Clippers for the expiring deals of Batum Marcus Morris RoCo and other salary filler plus maybe 1 pick in 2028 or 2030 (the kind of deal you’re talking about) the likelihood of Embiid begging out goes up tremendously. Sixers in the end may trade Embiid but that scenario of him begging out seriously harms Philly’s ability to get maximum value in trade.
