Giannis or Jokic but Jokic with elite defense is kinda bonkers. Although Giannis with silky smooth jumper gives me chills
Joker would still not be swift, not that it stops him now.

But, Freak with a jumper is Russian roulette with every chamber full.

Sure. If Philly prefers picks over players lol

Clarkson, Olynyk and picks
I’m really not serious. I just find the premise of sending the guy who loves strip clubs and night life to Utah. He’s also black and they have a checkered history with race as a fanbase.

Additionally, it could be a three way deal so the pieces coming back don’t have to be from Utah.

Harden is not fooling anyone, it’s all about every last $ at this point.

Truth be told, I think the Sixers are going to do nothing in the middle and will opt for either extreme.

1. They come up with a 3-4 team multi team deal that ships out Harden and Tobias Harris.

2. They tell Harden to go fuck himself and they essentially run it back with Nick Nurse as coach.

Feast or famine.

That’s why he didn’t opt out

If the players were smart and didn’t smooth the cap (aka artificially depress player salaries and options) he’s not a sixer right now

No doubt. He’s all up in his head now. He’s not all wrong in assessing what happened. He took less at the table last year to help the franchise sign depth. Whether he had promises made or just assumptions, he was under the impression that the Sixers would reward his decision from last summer with more years at 40+ million per season. So now the guy is likely thinking he got played and “never again” as he will now seek to get every dollar he can.

You can say that both sides are doing what’s in their best interest

It comes at a tremendous risk. He isn’t 2018, 2019 Harden anymore. He costs himself money if he goes Fat Suit Harden. The Sixers aren’t getting proper value for him now as it is. They get even less for him if he goes Fat Suit James. Whatever comes back in any Harden or Harris trade has to be assessed as this: will this situation be better in the short and long term to be better than 75 million off the cap next summer.

That’s a lot easier to do when someone actually wants you

I think people will want him at the right price. I just don’t think he accepts what the market is for him right now. If he were willing to do 3 years at 75-90 million with a team option in the last year, I think there would be more demand for his services.

I think he wants what Philly should’ve given him (in his mind)

He might take less from someone else

Expiring contracts and picks and Kobe brown seems like a decent way to do that.
