It just sets a bad precedent and I hope Portland maintains this stance. These guys are getting crazy money for supposedly sticking with their team. If that is no longer the case the supermax should go away.

Is this going to set a precedent going forward? We will see if they stick to their guns
This just bolsters my earlier posts on this. It isn’t Portland that’s motivated to go and find another team to get engaged. That should be Miami shaking the trees to find a landing spot for Herro that nets them the draft picks the Blazers seek. Portland doesn’t want to do this deal to begin with and Dame’s stance of Miami or bust is their excuse for dragging feet. Dame has absolutely over played his hand.

Yup

Today David Wilson and Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald floated the following at the 3:30 mark of their “Heat Check” podcast: I don’t even know if I buy it 100 percent, but someone that has knowledge of what’s going on, they’re not even convinced that Portland wants to trade Damian Lillard at this point. It almost feels like they’re trying to find a way to maybe change his mind or delay this and see if Dame goes, ‘Well, I’ll just be part of this.

This and the jaylen brown threads could’ve been solved by sending scoot to Boston for his overpaid, overrated ass

LOL at this guy. Harden is really good but not better than Wade. No way.

Harden has played with talent....not like he been by himself.

Harden is a better offensive player for sure. He can do more things than Wade could.

But Wade was a lock down defender and a killer in the playoffs.

Not close really when looking at the full package.

Never heard his podcast but that opinion makes you seriously question him.

That’s where I am. Two outstanding players with exceptional gifts. One guy is a killer in the biggest of moments and that guy isn’t named James Harden.

Losing to a bunch of octogenarians (in nba years) is a stink all of them need to wear
Didn't your team just do that in 2022?
