It just sets a bad precedent and I hope Portland maintains this stance. These guys are getting crazy money for supposedly sticking with their team. If that is no longer the case the supermax should go away.
This just bolsters my earlier posts on this. It isn’t Portland that’s motivated to go and find another team to get engaged. That should be Miami shaking the trees to find a landing spot for Herro that nets them the draft picks the Blazers seek. Portland doesn’t want to do this deal to begin with and Dame’s stance of Miami or bust is their excuse for dragging feet. Dame has absolutely over played his hand.Is this going to set a precedent going forward? We will see if they stick to their guns
