I agree they shouldn’t trade for Harden.

But Terrance Mann isn’t the reason. Harden is.

Clippers should be honest and stop using that excuse.
The Clippers definitely have interest though. They’ve been looking for a PG for years. They just don’t want to give value back in the deal.

Honest??

Do you think they’d have no shot at contending with harden?

The Clippers health will always be a question. Harden adds to that list with his soft tissue stuff over the last three years. That being said, Harden Kawhi PG and role guys around it would represent their best chance. If they don’t do this one, they might as well try and package Kawhi and PG and start their rebuild.

O Good Lord! That deal is straight garbage but it could happen because there’s only one team in this thing because Dame is fucking Portland in the ass w/o Vaseline.

They can add one more pick to that if they unprotect okc’s 2026 pick…

Wild how herro is holding this deal up…by Miami trying to move him

That last line is basically why I asked

If you don’t think harden can put you over the top, it’s time to tear it down

Knicks need pg or kawhi more than they needed Donovan anyway

Harden doesn’t even get in the way of a decision to rebuild after 23-24 season because Harden is expiring money. If it doesn’t work out they haven’t lost much. The deal will likely include guys like RoCo and Batum who are expiring. If they can get creative with more Lavine getting shopped rumors floating around with a three teamer, they can get Harden and Tucker for a swap of Zubac and Drummond (start Plumlee), no picks going out and they lose the Morris, Batum, Roco, Bones Hyland and Amir Coffey. That’s really not bad. Here’s what I came up with the other day.

If the sixers are willing to take ball that might happen

What id need to look up is if they can trade him now that they took a disability exception for him…

Clippers would be Harden PG Kawhi Tucker Plumlee with a bench of Russ Powell Mann Drummond.

and some salary to throw around later in the year (Kork, Drummond, Kobe Brown) and their picks to make another add.

It isn’t zero.

But this team will go as far as Kawhi takes them.

And I can’t rely on any of the big names staying healthy.

Yeah Brunson and DM don’t make a ton of sense but they won’t say no to Mitchell.

Would they even have the cap space? I don’t think it matters, if Mitchell next summer said he wanted to be traded…NY would do everything in their power to get him.

For sure, and if you actually think it could end any other way than disaster you need to go for therapy.

Saw where another USC player went into cardiac arrest less than a year ago and he is back playing. Seems weird.

Weird that he's back playing or weird that it happened with another USC player?
