Just my opinion but he will never get the respect Barkley has. The only time I hear about Draymond it’s something outrageous or stupid, clickbait stuff. Maybe not his fault but I certainly won’t ever watch him. You are probably close to right though in this age of basketball blending with the non tough parts of professional wrestling.

The leverage he will have that Chuck doesn’t have is the rings. Just watch. You’re gonna see this dude for the next two decades in media and every time he gets challenged or he gets pressed it will be like the Klay Gif where he just puts up 4 fingers or some other thing he does to reference the rings.

I've noticed it's ramped up a bit since they won the 4th title. That seemed to give Dray the green light to basically say 'I'm legit you have to listen to me', because the 1st one was a little lucky and the next 2 were perceived to be KD driven. After #4 Draymond can stick out his chest and say he's a made guy.

Disagree on this. You can project one or two rings for Curry and Klay without Draymond but not the dynasty. Somebody has to do the dirty work and he does that with aplomb. I respect the game. He just doesn’t have the latitude he thinks he does.

I'm more talking about his post-playing media career. Barkley hasn't been good at basketball in 25 years.

And Draymond's 'antics' have calmed down as his play has declined and he's matured.

But he doesn't get nearly as many techs or kick dudes in the nuts anymore. You can still hate the guy and realize he's different now.

He doesn’t belong in that lane. Worthy and Pippen could go out and get you thirty on the regular if the team needed that from them. Draymond? Nah. Dude is a role player extraordinaire. Don’t get me wrong. He’s very very good at it. Best in his generation of players. But still a role player.

LOL ok. 'Better' is indeed the very definition of a relative term. As in, Draymond is better at controlling his emotions than he used to be.
