I saw an article written earlier in the offseason that was talking about a Towns trade and one of the places they had was OKC and they had the Thunder giving us Chet, Dort and 3 1st rounders.

Uhmmmm.....OK.

There is no sport that has more bullshit written about it that is completely fake than the NBA. Not sure why that is. Probably just the fact there are fewer players but still the same amount of trades every year. But I don't really take any stock in the Knicks wanting or not wanting Towns in a published report. NBA reports more than any other sport are more fan fiction than they are actual reporting.

If you're a writer and there's nothing going on...write yourself a clickbait article speculating on a trade that sends a top level player to a lousy team and you're going to have at least 2 fanbases clicking on and arguing about it.

As a fan of one of the most targeted teams for that kind of shit...I don't go on and am not a member of any Lakers sites for that very reason. lol

Just my opinion but he will never get the respect Barkley has. The only time I hear about Draymond it’s something outrageous or stupid, clickbait stuff. Maybe not his fault but I certainly won’t ever watch him. You are probably close to right though in this age of basketball blending with the non tough parts of professional wrestling.

I've noticed it's ramped up a bit since they won the 4th title. That seemed to give Dray the green light to basically say 'I'm legit you have to listen to me', because the 1st one was a little lucky and the next 2 were perceived to be KD driven. After #4 Draymond can stick out his chest and say he's a made guy.

Attitude wise? Sure. He’s trying to carve a niche. At the same time, even in his prime, he was never anywhere near as good as Chuck. The level to which people will put up with this shit is directly linked to how good you are. Draymond ain’t Chuck and he shouldn’t be granted that kind of latitude. He’s also not as good as he once was so even comparing Draymond antics now to antics from 4-5 years ago…different ball game and different latitude that should be afforded.

I'm more talking about his post-playing media career. Barkley hasn't been good at basketball in 25 years.

And Draymond's 'antics' have calmed down as his play has declined and he's matured.

I'm not really disagreeing here, I get it, he's polarizing and a lot of people don't like his act....exactly the same as Barkley was perceived.
