My hope on Dame is that the Sixers with Harden was a non-consideration for him. But with Harden out the Sixers with Maxey/Embiid a head coach in Nurse and decent role players around it that can defend is an enticing situation for him.

I don’t see a dame trade without them getting maxey

But they’re a terrible franchise so maybe I should bank on it

I like Bill.....he will say some crazy shit.

#AlwaysaBruin

The problem I have with him is he goes on and on and on to the point that it becomes distracting. Being able to have the off topic rants without being distracting is a bit of an art.

Like him to the Raps if FVV heads to Houston.

He’s not worth it due to a hot post season

He didn’t have a great regular season

Miami finds guys like strus and him in the couch cushions

True, he bit eclectic. But, he can tell some good stories.

Massive on air talent layoffs happening today
a few thoughts on the ESPN layoffs.

1. A previous poster was right - they do tend to cycle through talent until it gets too expensive and then replace it- though they do hang on to certain people.

2. ESPN has paid hundreds of millions to broadcast sports and cord cutting is hitting them hard- this is definitely the main reason for the savings.

3. I dont know anyone that watches ESPN like when it was in its prime. I loved watching sportscenter- I loved watchinig Baseball Tonight in the summer. Now I never do. Do they still even have baseball tonight?

4. Have gotten soooooooooo woke.

I saw one broadcast he did, I think it was a USC game on the PAC12 Network where he apparently got the right mix of weed and LSD and he kept his off topic stuff down to where it wasn't distracting. He was hilarious and it actually had me looking forward to his next game.

Started watching that, but he apparently forgot the weed/LSD ratio from the previous game and was terrible again. lol

These layoffs will keep happening and it is also why a few of them have come out against the Stephen A and Pat McAfee deals because ESPN is giving them big money yet crying poverty by cutting people.

I know, just a hunch the Raps will sign him.

I hope so.

that means fred to houston.

OKC doesn't deserve a top 10 pick from HOU.

a few years ago uconn lost to Arkansas by about 70 so he didn't stay on topic for the last....oh about 35 minutes of the game.

The Simmons asset wasn’t garbage until the 6ers broke him.

Had they traded him before publicly humiliating him which allowed everyone else to realize he was broken, they could have gotten more.

You are looking at the simple math that Harden did more for Philly than the package the Nets got for Harden.

What I see is that both teams were worse after the deal. And unless the 6ers pull off a crazy trade, their contention window could very well be closed.

Congrats.
The only thing that broke Simmons was being given money while not doing what was in his employers best interest. What happened in the playoffs was the end of a very long process and the Sixers players and coaches had enough.

FVV is not turning them around overnight.

They can get 2-3 key pieces in FA

With young guys primed to make the leap.

And they stop having that selfish prick KPJ running the point.

Just upgrading at PG is going to open up that team.

I'm bullish on them for next year (if these things actually happen)

No. This is false. It's been proven false by the facts over and over again.

Thuybulle doesn't pussy out on his layup and no one says anything.

No question.

As I said before though, harden is the first major loser of this new god awful CBA (the players are dumb, hire me guys).

And Morey won't return the favor after harden bailed him out...twice.

They won 22 games.

FVV and Brooks are nice players but not AS caliber types. I think they are looking at 37-39 wins. And that is if there youngsters continue to get better. I don't see more than 41 wins at most. Now in their 2nd year with FVV and Brooks? Yeah, I could see a 45-47 win mark.
