Canucks were set back for years for not rebuilding while the Sedins were still playing.
they kept adding stupid veteran old pieces for a win now be mediocre and hope to squeak into the playoffs now mentality, and blowing out all of our draft capital.

the whole Louie Ericksson / OEL chain of cap hell was a result of this.

i used to get so excited for draft day and for free agency but the absolute shit show that are the Canucks the last 10 years have absolutely tempered that. now I just hope they dont fuck things up any more than they already have.
