I guess this is what happens when you only weigh 50 lbs.
Shoulders are only meant to extend so much. If you dive flat on the ground with arms extended your shoulder can give out regardless of your stature. Something's gonna give.....

Oh yeah way to early to write him off, but we've all seen the signs in NE
Thorton started out really well then had a couple of drops and then......................the inevitable, he got hurt. Nothing on it yet. No info on whether it's a bob-boo or an Oh-no.

Per Tom Curran on Early Edition 8/17.2023.

"Pop" Douglas ran the Packers ragged as the Patriots' offense went ballistic against the packers' defense today.

Complete and unexpected 180 today.

Defense kicked the shit out of the Packers' offense today.

Aneferee Jennings was kicked out of practice for dropping a Packer WR after one Packer took a swing at a Patriots.

Jabril Peppers was told to pipe down by an unnamed coach and his response wad "Fuck NO!" And started screaming louder at both the offense and defense. Is he the net Devin McCourty? Word out of the practice is that he was everywhere and hitting like a sledge hammer today.

Sounds like good news overall for the first time.

QUOTE: Matthew Judon. "This team is really looking forward to Saturday night."

Stock Up: Sidy Sow, OT

Sidy Sow has quietly creeped up the tackle depth chart after Conor McDermott and Riley Reiff’s battle stalled. Sow has been getting a lot of first team reps at right tackle with Reiff shifting to guard in Mike Onwenu’s absence.

Although Reiff looked good at right guard, Sow at right tackle is an interesting development. Couple that with a few solid joint practices and preseason games coming up, and Sow could ultimately win the job.

Sow also had really impressive reps against the best rookie EDGE rusher in the 2023 class, Will Anderson Jr. in the preseason opener against the Houston Texans. So there is some high level play on tape to be excited for.

Saw a stat...Thought I'd share...

Kayshon Boutte fastest to 100 catches in 21 games over;

Justin Jefferson - 22 games
Jamarr Chase - 24 games
O'Dell Beckham Jr - 31 games

Thats pretty good company to have that stat. A stat that could mean...nothing.
But stats, like stereotypes, are based on truth.

What do you think?
A meaningless stat?
A real good indicator of his potential?

Both.
At this point the stat is meaningless in the NFL
The potential is undeniable........

Where would that put him if he had 100 catches in his first regular season? (17 games)

I think it's a decent measuring stick IF, the WR has a QB that's throwing 500-600 passes.

No stat is meaningless. Every stat tells something.

If he becomes a primary target and makes 100 catches, in 21 games, that's shows more than potential.

Do the math. 100/21 = 4.75 catches per game or 17 every 4 games.

If he keeps playing like has so far, I don't think it's unreasonable.

The bigger question is, Will Mac look for him that often?

Its a good stat but we all know that the O Line and QB can make a break a WR. But as the numbers are so close I say good stat
