I mentioned the other day that the O Line feels more like a run blocking group vs a pass blocking group. Sort of feels like the Pats signing Zeke confirms that thought. IMO this team will use a lot of two TE sets and be a run oriented offense which should help Mac as teams will have to play the run. If both RBs Stevenson and Zeke can stay healthy this could be a 3 yards and a cloud of dust threat.

I'm sure that BB knows that these guys are out there, but makes one wonder if they could bump up the WR group at all?

Jarvis Landry 29
Kenny Golloday 30
Sammy Watkins 29

How did Logan Ryan feel about the Darrell Revis contract?

Huh? Revis is a HOF corner who was still playing at an elite level. Logan was solid but that’s it.

Stevenson is WAY better than Zeke.

Most importantly to me, how does Rhamondre Stevenson feel about getting paid WAY less?
In a candid conversation with a serviceman, he admitted he did not like civilian employees.
"We do all the work and you get all the money"
I pointed out to him that when he retires, he is going to want a cushy, high paying job.
It changed his way of thinking.
Players have agents and GM's pointing out that they will be off rookie conrtracts soon.

In that case we should consider rostering Johnny Lumpkin @ TE.

Rather have 4.5 yards and a cloud of dust.......

Well as usual with the Pats we will get minimal information on this, but no reason to play him the rest of the pre-season.

I read somewhere this morning that they expect him to be ready for game one. I agree, no reason to play him. We know what he's got.

Zeke is an established top flight RB, pro bowls, All pro, OPOY, etc etc...
Stevenson is a really good RB the jury is still out on whether he will be remembered as "Solid" or any better.

You can argue the minutia, but you get my point.

Stevenson is still on his rookie contract.

Well as usual with the Pats we will get minimal information on this, but no reason to play him the rest of the pre-season.

I had a dislocated shoulder from motocross.
The ball and socket gets "dented" forming a "keyway" to more easily dislocations.
I eventually had a surgical repair after re-dislocating many times.
Surgery is much better these days and even with a "mild" dislocation, The joint is now loose and playing will not make it better.
I would not be suprised if he gets surgery next off-season......
