I mean it depends. You are in a different state than I am. Here in NYC, most take public transportation to the games so if it is a blowout and i can leave 10 minutes earlier which means I get to catch an earlier train then why not?

Because fans take it too far.

Every once in awhile that epic comeback happens and the overeager fans miss it.

If you are leaving a 20 point game with 1 minute left?

Ok.

6 minutes is too much. Game not over.

I agree with you, but it’s something that every fanbase does. Some here are making it seem like it’s just a Miami thing.

Definitely not just a Miami thing.

It is a sport culture thing.

I remember one of the first major somewhat major sporting events I went to as a kid was a Georgetown Hoya game with a friend whose family had season tickets. I was about 9.

Hoyas went on a run in the second half and went up by about 30 with 10 minutes left.

My friend turns to me and says:

“This game is over! We could leave!”

He was so excited by that.

And I was just bewildered. Why would you want to leave? The game isn’t over until the final buzzer. I want to see the whole thing.

Just curious....was that during the Patrick Ewing era?

Yeah i get that. I dont think the fans left that early. Will watch highlights/replay of the game to confirm but felt like the 3 min mark

No more bogus guaranteed from Jimmy Butler in the postgame press this time.

Fitting.

Stay hungry, Nuggets.

This is post of the year dumb right here.

Congrats.
So you've got nothing to add to the conversation, got it. There was nothing dumb at all about that post, it's the truth. MJ isn't the GOAT simply due to his play on the court. He revolutionized the sport to heights it had never seen before, made it global.

Still feel good about their chances. Would have been more concerned had they been hitting shots and they still lose that game by 15. Just got to hit shots and try to make things harder for Murray. I expect it to be a best of 3 series by the wlend of game 4

But if it's a blowout, isn't everyone doing that? You need to be either ahead of or behind the crowd.

That's because people have been underestimating Jokic for so long. Now that they actually see what he does, Murray is fine as your #2 (and he's healthy and thriving).

He improved. Players don't remain the same players they were 3-4 years ago. They also added Gordon who is now the 3rd best player imo

Wife won 400 on Murray's triple double last night. And won 200 on the previous game on a bet. She all excited.
