Every single one of the experts at CBS (my feud w/ Sam Quinn documented) is picking Denver.

Yet more than half of the frequent posters on here are picking Miami.

But no, not a Miami Heat message board... Sure.
Mad because more folks aren't on your side, fat boy? How petty... :tsk:

Lol miami can hide herro on gordon or KCP. Herro was Miami best spot up shooter this season so not seeing how the addition of a 20 ppg scorer who shot nearly 38% from 3 hurts

Hide Herro (6-5 & 195) on Gordon (6-8 & 235)? That's a mismatch the Nuggets could take advantage of. Herro isn't a low post player.

It's not like they are going to bench Caleb or Butler for Herro. He can come in for Strus or even Lowry minutes and give you instant improvement on offense.

He should. This is the weakest path to a ring I’ve ever seen. They’re playing 4 opponents and 3 of the 4 were play in teams.
They had to compete with Playoff Gobert! The most feared thing in all of sports!

Jokic has beaten more NBA 75 players than Giannis did 2 years ago and yet no one discounts his win because he had an easy path.

Also, it’s not Jokic’s fault the East was filled with chokers. Maybe if the Bucks, Sixers, and Celtics weren’t such overrated hacks the Nuggets would be playing a non-play in team in the finals.

And please tell me you’re not pretending that the Lakers team that the Nuggets just swept in the Western conference finals is the same team they started the year with before the trade deadline? Look at the record post deadline and tell me if you think they were a “an average play in team”.

Gordon stays in the corner most of these games. You think Miami cares if Denver decide to give Gordon more touches? It is a win for them if his shot attempts increase

Holy shit, I take one weekend off to spend time with my family for Memorial day and this amazing outcome happens. Buck Foston!!!

Congratulation @bksballer89 and every other Heat fan out there! This is fantastic.

Very rarely do I see a Finals where I would be genuinely happy if either team won it,

I would love to see a Game 7, triple overtime game with either a Jokic or Butler game winning buzzer beater.

That being said, I think this goes to the Nuggets in 5 or 6

Gordon is shooting 49% from the field these playoffs including 35% from 3.

Herro this season is like 2% better from 3 and yet 6% worse overall from the field, that’s not the win you think it is

And this changes nothing i said. If Gordon shots increase then it likely means a decrease in attempts per game for Murray and/or Jokic....that is a win for Miami

You really think if the Heat put Herro on Gordon he'll stay in the corners? Can Herro limit Gordon's production in the low post? I have my doubts. And in the playoffs AG only averages 2.5 three's per game. It's not like the 3 is a big part of his game.

I dont think you're understanding my point lol. Miami doesn't give a shit about Gordon and would LOVE if Malone decided to give Gordon more attempts than his standard 10 shots per game.

This means nothing. You know what this is? This is some stat that’s been searched for by some media talking head in Denver because they know this is a light path.
Also, it’s not Jokic’s fault the East was filled with chokers. Maybe if the Bucks, Sixers, and Celtics weren’t such overrated hacks the Nuggets would be playing a non-play in team in the finals.
Who said anything about Jokic’s fault?!?!? It is what it is. You’re talking Eastern conference shit and yet all they saw out West was meh teams.
And please tell me you’re not pretending that the Lakers team that the Nuggets just swept in the Western conference finals is the same team they started the year with before the trade deadline?
They aren’t the same team. Are we saying they’re a good team? What modern NBA team shoots the 3 like the Lakers do?!?!? That’s one of the worst shooting teams I’ve ever seen. You’re trying to put lipstick on a pig.
Look at the record post deadline and tell me if you think they were a “an average play in team”.
The Heat aren’t an average play in team either.

What’s your point? This is as easy a road to championship as the Nuggets are ever going to see.

You don’t even understand the comment he made. Why does Herro’s offensive numbers come in to play in a conversation about the role he would play on the defensive end of the court? You should go scour Wikipedia and learn more about the game of basketball. Front running for the only relevant Nuggets team in their history might be more fun for you if you took the time to learn about the great sport of basketball.

If the Nuggets want to post AG when they have Jokic, Murray and MPJ on the floor that’s a huge win for Miami. If AG was that guy the Orlando Magic wouldn’t have quit on him.

KCP could hurt ya. He’s not just a spot up shooter. He moves around a ton and has made himself a lively cutter without the basketball.

I don’t think Denver minds Gordon being more involved. Jokic had his worst game in Game 3 vs Lakers and that’s the game the Nuggets won handily.
