Right....Now it is after 2, though. Heat stole home court and now it's over again but with the Heat winning.A series not done after 1 game bitches

Yep...and now Miami taking home court means Miami has wrapped it up.I was led to believe that one bad shooting night for Miami meant the series was already over

That is an interesting topic and not sure which has the bigger overreaction. It's close. I'll say NFL week 1 simply because so much more time to make up for the 1 loss. They had an interesting discussion this morning on Dan Patrick.
They were discussing which game has a bigger overreaction, game 1 of the NFL season or game 1 of an NBA playoff series.
Yeah, it’s a lot easier to see how an NFL team is going to perform overall when they’re in mid-season form I think, and also to see what injuries have transpired since the beginning of the season at that point. That is an interesting topic and not sure which has the bigger overreaction. What exactly is it that the Heat do that no other NBA does?Maybe, but he ain't wrong...
Thanks for my opening day doom prediction...Yeah, I don't think they ever reached a conclusion one way or the other.
The examples they used were things like, if the Lions beat the Chiefs in game 1, the overreactions are "the Lions are for real" and/or "the Chiefs run is over" and with the NBA it's "this series is going to be a short one".
Just noting the chemistry the Heat have. It kinda matters...What exactly is it that the Heat do that no other NBA does?

And yes, that varies from team to team...
So you saying that doesn't matter? Just wanna be clear......and why it's hyperbole, almost hip-wader level lol.
Of course it matters, but the Heat don't have it any more than other good teams. So you saying that doesn't matter? Just wanna be clear...
Spo basically did everything i asked last night except give Highsmith all of zeller minutes.
Locked in on slowing down Murray
Made Jokic a scorer
If you do those 2 things at leasf 3 more times then there will be a parade on Biscayne Blvd in a couple of weeks
Especially since a missed foot on the line makes that a tie game essentially last night.I don’t think it is quite that simple.
But it gives Miami a chance.
Mmm, I dunno, man...Of course it matters, but the Heat don't have it any more than other good teams.
Agreed...Last night's victory could've flipped very easily.
Yup. But bottom line, they accomplished the split. Now if they hold sway at home they have a great shot at getting that O'Brien. Honestly, I think it'd be a better story if a play-in team can pull it off...The Heat definitely stepped up where they didn't in game 1, but had to hold on for dear life at the end.

Actually, they didn't. They made more 3 point shots, but the Nuggets made 1 more shot from the field and 1 more shot from the line. And Miami made more shots.
