They had very good D those years, often best rated in the league. They were the best on O and D hence one of the best teams ever assembled. But there's no way all 27 of those misses were contested. Just a random bit of luck.I remember the Warriors having sneaky under rated D in those years because everyone was Gaga over their offense. I can’t remember how contested the looks were.
It's also luck which I know you've also mentioned before (like winning because Kyrie/Love go down, but also losing because Durant/Klay do the same). I think Kerr's most impressive title was last season IMO.I agree those are your top 3 all time...but you underestimate the coaching skill needed to win even with top talent. Kerr won a couple titles without KD after all. Jackson won a couple without Shaq to pair with Kobe.
But your main point I agree with, the players have to do their jobs and coaching is not the main reason teams win or lose. Randomness kind of is to be honest. Some days perfectly good players miss wide open shots. The Rockets I think went like 0 for 20 something in a row from 3 in one of their playoff games vs the Warriors, for example.
Not sure it matters when it comes to an 0-27. Only guessing but thinking opponent 3 percentage that year was better than 30%. To miss every shot from 3 is kind of out there.I remember the Warriors having sneaky under rated D in those years because everyone was Gaga over their offense. Yes it definitely was. But it should be mentioned Kerr's first year they won a title without KD and a big reason why is he installed their ball movement offense and also convinced Iguodala to come off the bench in favor of Draymond starting, when Iggy was a made guy and Draymond was very young. It's also luck which I know you've also mentioned before (like winning because Kyrie/Love go down, but also losing because Durant/Klay do the same). True but that's the year no Love and Kyrie....but either way the job he did the entire season and to get to that point was great work.Yes it definitely was. Yes they got some injury luck that year in the finals but they don't win a title without Kerr's moves, which I know you are saying here. Most years injuries affect the playoffs.True but that's the year no Love and Kyrie....but either way the job he did the entire season and to get to that point was great work.
zeller not much of a consolation prize
Well said. The main key to beating the Nuggets is to get the starters preferably any of them other than KCP in foul trouble. Bruce Brown is all they got in the bench.
worth a try...if he's got it, great. If not get him out.Sounds like Miami going back to Love starting
I’d go:Don’t sleep on Christian Braun, behind Brown he’s probably the best defender on the team.

It all depends on what they do with Bam off of this. I for one am interested to see what Spo is gonna roll with.I said Love on Jokic is a bad idea.
Still think it is.
But maybe it isn’t completely terrible.
Jokic isn’t the type to blow by someone. And maybe Love can keep him off the glass.

The problem with love on Jokic outside of the obvious is you get to expose his bad defense on screens. Put him on Gordon and he isn't exposed muchIt all depends on what they do with Bam off of this. I for one am interested to see what Spo is gonna roll with.
