LOL @ McVay dreaming of drafting Cole at the end of the 3rd round, wonder how many more times we see his jaw drop like that during the draft.

So if the Seahawks got Mayfield as a 1 year rental at $18.86M but his 2022 cap hit was $4.46M and the Seahawks accounted for the remaining $14.4M in 2023 you'd be ok with that?Your take
Mariota can be cut next off season for 2.5 million so lets not be disingenuous here.So if the Seahawks got Mayfield as a 1 year rental at $18.86M but his 2022 cap hit was $4.46M and the Seahawks accounted for the remaining $14.4M in 2023 you'd be ok with that?
Most people had Strange as a late 2nd-3rd round pick, so that’s not out of the realm for McVay to think that.LOL @ McVay dreaming of drafting Cole at the end of the 3rd round, wonder how many more times we see his jaw drop like that during the draft.
The Patriots getting passes for their draft picks is a bit odd, since Bill's draft history is a bit shaky. Some great picks for sure, but some real head-scratchers too. Strange is a solid prospect, so at least he should be a solid player, if not a perceived draft value.

To be clear: I don't care where Mayfield ends up, nor do I care who plays QB for the Seahawks. Mayfield isn't a top 12 QB, and he might not be a top 20 QB. He certainly isn't worth $18.86M to any NFL team as of right now. It's perfectly legitimate to compare Mayfield's value to Mariota, Bridgewater, Minshew, and other non top 20 QBs, but it's only of interest if the values are accurate. Use artificially low numbers and it becomes a GIGO discussion.Mariota can be cut next off season for 2.5 million so lets not be disingenuous here.
Of course not. It's about total cost rather than the cap number. If the cost is more than the benefit you don't make the trade. If the benefit does outweigh the cost then manipulating the cap accounting is a small additional plus.
Couldn’t be worse then Geno Smith@HaroldSeattle @Tapey @sharkymcwrath

Foles is a FA? It's obvious that he should sign in Washington to backup Wentz. ....Championship...@HaroldSeattle @Tapey @sharkymcwrath

Fragile Wentz is probably crying in his cereal over Howell being drafted. If the bring in Foles Wentz will buy a diving belt and jump into the Potomac.Foles is a FA? It's obvious that he should sign in Washington to backup Wentz. ....Championship...
As it turns out the Eagles didn’t learn their lesson from QBs named CarsonIn hindsight I wish the Commodes drafted CARSON Strong.
I know I wanted Dallas to take a flyer on Strong but TWO Fragile CARSONs on one team would be comedy gold.
I dont know.As it turns out the Eagles didn’t learn their lesson from QBs named Carson
The Eagles drafting does kinda look like a dude who is too drunk trying to pick up chicks.I dont know.
Thats like picking up a girl at the bar because she looks like your ex-wife. It aint exactly a commitment.
