So the Niners traded down one pick.

Not too far from the truth. There will be a lot of competition for that #1 slot though (Pats, Broncos, Raiders, Giants, Cardinals, Vikings, Bears, Panthers). Some of those teams we expect to win some games, but who knows lol.

Moved because he only had 15 targets in 5 games and Kupp is back, moving him to 4th WR. Will he get any more targets in Atlanta though?

Not unexpected. Jefferson is a non-contributing depth player on an expiring contract. The Rams want back-ups who will return to the team in 2024, which is the focus rather than 2023. Jefferson is a decent enough depth player and he wasn't on a lot of money, ($1.3M), so it's not saving much cash once he's replaced. The Rams intend to be players in 2024 free agency so they don't figure to get a compensatory pick for him.

Decent speed, decent blocker, doesn't cut hard on routes, and doesn't compete well for contested passes. Josh Reynolds lite.

I'm just surprised it ended up being Atlanta and not Carolina or Minnesota. What use does Atlanta have for more WRs? They rarely use the guys they already have.

Can Jefferson run block? Lol. Maybe the Falcons think they actually have an NFL QB based on one pretty good game. Wishful thinking, imo.

It is even though I've never really been a big fan of Hardman. Skyy Moore clearly isnt elevating himself at all and MVS has not worked out as a deep threat.

Hardman did have a stretch of 5 TDs in 3 games last year and then got hurt.

Seems like a good move.

MVS is better off as the #3 guy, not a starter.

At Clemson, he had 1865 yards and 17 TDs after just his Freshman and Sophomore season. Generally early producers in college become great WRs. The problem is that he has been hurt multiple times. I think 3 major injuries? Maybe just 2? Not sure. But its really hurt his progression. I'd imagine if he stays healthy for a lengthy period of time he'll be good.

That fact that your wife even knows who Ross is means she is a better Chiefs fan than my wife lol
