I could see a WR-desperate team like the Panthers offering a late rounder for Claypool or a pick swap.

It's incredible how fast these teams are getting off some of these high priced FAs.

Jacksons' fit in NE will be a natural since that's where he played before San Diego, and they definitely need CB help with Gonzalez being out for the rest of the year.

I doubt we'll see any team trade for Gregory, so the question will be whether Gregory rejoins Dallas or whether he joins some other contender to pump up his FA value?

Example 45376 & 45377 of why it is not a good thing to be the winner of the NFL free agent offseason. These were on everyone's list of top 5 free agents available during the 2022 free agency period.

some things don't need an explanation. I've always thought both teams coming into the league together was the real issue.

Looks like a late round pick swap. Gregory and a 7th for a 6th.

PFT saying that the Broncos are paying ALL of Gregory's salary except for the prorated veteran minimum. Nice to see the Niners aren't on the hook for Gregory's inflated salary.

Cheap depth piece for that front. They can get guys some breaks here and there and maybe have a guy in case of some minor injuries later in the season. Broncos was not a good fit for him but he can come off the bench and disrupt things a bit. Smart move for the Niners to keep Bosa and the other guys fresh for when it matters. Fucking hate it as a Hawks fan though.

On the flipside, the Broncos really screwed up signing Gregory to that deal and now eat a ton of money for basically nothing. Kinda have to wonder where that franchise is headed at this point.

yeah they thought they were slick when they signed him from us.
Just about every one of us were thinking how stupid of them back then. There was a reason the Cowboys had those stipulations in their contract. LOL
