2021 Super Bowl Champions Rams
I see them drafting at least 2 qbs, one early and one late as well as signing possibly 2 as UDFA.
Daniel Jeremiah sees Hendon Hooker, Jaren Hall as potential QB fits for Rams
Daniel Jeremiah spoke about the Rams’ current backup QB situation and listed two players as potential options in the 2023 NFL draft.theramswire.usatoday.com
Matthew Stafford will be returning as the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams in 2023, but it’s become apparent that they need to find a serviceable backup this offseason. With the draft taking place in the next couple of months, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah discussed the current backup quarterback situation for the Rams and mentioned Hendon Hooker as an option.
“I really like Hendon Hooker,” Jeremiah said on a conference call. “I think he is a good player. I think he can do everything that Sean McVay wants to do. I think you start with accuracy and decision-making. He can move around, so you are going to be able to use all that stretch boot. He is going to be very comfortable doing that. He can think the game really well.”
Luckily it is better to be a 25 year old qb than a 25 year old at any other position. That's a steep learning curve for an overaged guy. I would say "we'll see", but I hope we don't.
Hope so. Didn't look great in camp last year, hopefully he's fully recovered and ready to compete for a starting job at G.
We have one qb on the roster, surprised you didn't draft one.In an online mock here on the hoop, I didn't draft a QB for them but picked up 2 as UDFA (Ahlers, DeVito).

More like Aaron Paul, lol. Really "ready to cook"...Mcvay on the left
Lions should be heavily fined as Schwartz showed concussion like symptoms his entire time as a head coach. Yet they never sat him. That's nice in all, big difference between JIm Schwartz and Sean McVay
They talked all August about his elbow being whack. Most news that time of year can be ignored, but that one was legit.I am curious to see Stafford this year. He has played hurt often in his career, I have never seen him fall apart quite like he did last year. I don't know what he has left.
As opposed to this year, he said he had no pain and feels good. They talked all August about his elbow being whack. Most news that time of year can be ignored, but that one was legit.

In 2012 the Lions had Suh, Megatron and Stafford. The 3 of them each had one of their best seasons as pros that year and all 3 played 16 games.
.....they won 4 games.
After 2020 we clearly had a need for a back-up RB in March/April of both 2021 and 2022. We've lacked depth at LB for at least 2 years and no back-up there has looked like he could be a potential starting quality player for another team. They didn't have those needs last winter, other than Edge (once Von walked). Von signed one day before Robinson.
