Of course, San Fran is telling people he is available. No, they are actively calling out to teams.
If he wasn't lying for Lynch to "strengthen the relationship" he would have said they were asking for the price of Purdy too.
Ok then Rapoport and Schefter should have a "corporate sponsored information" label on their twitter.Of course, San Fran is telling people he is available.
It is kinda hard to imagine the Rams having Stafford, Kupp, and Donald healthy and not winning at least 8 games. Certainly if they suffer some injuries again they are in a position to bottom out.
In 2012 the Lions had Suh, Megatron and Stafford. The 3 of them each had one of their best seasons as pros that year and all 3 played 16 games.
.....they won 4 games.
Looking at that team they were 16th in DVOA so you'd expect them to win 8 games on average. The previous year they were 11th in DVOA and won 10 games. Hard to make predictions in the NFL, really. In 2012 the Lions had Suh, Megatron and Stafford. The 3 of them each had one of their best seasons as pros that year and all 3 played 16 games.

McVay is also 67-41 as a head coach.I will point out that Suh is no Donald, but that's not important to the overall point lol.
That's nice in all, big difference between JIm Schwartz and Sean McVayIn 2012 the Lions had Suh, Megatron and Stafford. The 3 of them each had one of their best seasons as pros that year and all 3 played 16 games.

Make a lot of sense for the Texans if they were able to get Lance for less than a 1st rounder and then just take someone like Will Anderson or Tyree Wilson instead of taking a chance at a new QB.Two teams reportedly interested are the Texans and Titans.
Correct. This is a 1 year rental that should conclude in February 2024 with Robinson being cut and becoming a FA if a new deal isn't agreed between the Steelers and Robinson. The 2024 contract may actually have negative value for the Steelers because of the risk of Robinson being injured and it becoming guaranteed by default, (similar situation to Carr being benched by the Raiders in 2022).No guaranteed money.

In 24 he has a 10MM salary and a 5.75MM roster bonus. If he's cut before next season he's paid nothing.
Lots of negative factors last year but even in an ideal situation he didn't look like a natural fit. The Rams needed someone to stretch the field rather than a slow possession receiver, (and possession receivers with little or no YAC threat don't warrant that sort of contract). WR shouldn't even have been high on their list given the obvious needs at Edge, ILB, & RB. Ultimately it didn't matter. All you can do is laugh at them, all these people buying into the nonsense they put out. Injuries didn't help with his production, it was a crazy fucked up year.
It's fair to laugh. No HC would win with the Rams 2023 roster. Lose 1 of Stafford, Kupp, or Akers and it's game over. Lose any 2 OL and it's game over. Until then the offense is a threat. With potentially 9 new defensive starters that side of the ball will be a mess early on. We also have zero quality depth. We're a good opponent to have if you don't play us Weeks 3 through 6.Maybe wonder coach will blow us away and the Rams will average 200 plus rushing yards per game this season. NFL defenses will employ the Jr high basketball box & one defensive for Kupp.
Les and Sean said as much, it was atypical signing. They wanted to get back on track.Lots of negative factors last year but even in an ideal situation he didn't look like a natural fit. Yet, people are surprised with all these guys leaving. Rams won't be against the cap any time soon.We also have zero quality depth. We're a good opponent to have if you don't play us Weeks 3 through 6.

Of course you have fans that think the Rams are tanking for Caleb or should. It seems to me, the Rams will draft a qb high this year and it possibly will be Hooker. Stafford at most has two years left.
Hooker is an obvious fail with McVay IMO. He's a one read, one side of the field overaged QB. That doesn't sound McVay at all. Might as well just trade for Malik Willis. Unless one of the top 4 drops to the late 1st and the Rams trade up, I don't see it. They could draft a backup-quality guy on day 3, sure.
