He's getting a bit old to take prove-it deals at 30. He should probably look for a decent multi-year offer with performance triggers.

The Patriots flip-flopped at QB all year. Everyone knows Jones is available. It comes down to who values him most. He still has an opportunity in New England if a trade doesn't happen. Given veteran and rookie QB availability this year a trade is unlikely.
