Similar response I received from my Steelers fan cousins in our group text. He isn’t a playmaker. He will do his job solidly was what I was told. They also said that playing alongside Minkah probably helped him look better.

LOL. CJGJ had some deficiencies but was a ballhawk. This guy sounds like a more solid player but one who won't get hit mitts on too many balls.

Edmunds has always been better against the run than Gardner. No contest.

Edmunds can't cover the slot. He's basically playing a different position.

Nothing special but consistent. CGJ just had some great opportunities but overall was overrated. Good replacement for what was on the market.

Yep, I hope they find a way to let him play out his career in a Seahawks uniform before he gets his gold jacket. He will also be a great mentor and on field coach for all the young guys on defense. Definitely will take the pressure off of Brooks which obviously was a problem last year.
