The Elks were in position to tie the game with a rouge (potentially by punting the ball through the end zone) when their QB threw an interception with about 30 seconds left.

I went for a hour long walk with the wife midway through the 2nd quarter with the score 2-0 Elks. I came back to the game midway through the 3rd quarter and the score was 4-3 Elks

I heard Halbro talking about the lack of talent playing in the CFL right now with all the US guys choosing to stay home and play in one of the many other leagues (xfl, usfl). Im starting to wonder if the CFL not having easily accessible player stats is on purpose lol

I think the CFL seriously needs to look at the "franchise tag" for a player that is salary cap exempt. Obviously in most cases, this would be a QB and maybe you set an upper limit of 1 million per season or maybe you leave it open. The dearth of quality QB's in the CFL at the moment is slowly killing the league.
