If anyone is interested, here is the latest on Carter Hart and it looks like Kolosov is going to be a Flyer.

Kolosov can't get here fast enough. I would think they will try to get him into a few AHL games before considering the NHL. Most likely the backup next year, which is an upgrade (over an orange traffic cone).

I consider this a must-win game tonight. We can't lose any points against Montreal, Chicago, Columbus or even Buffalo if we expect to hold onto 3rd in the Metro. Slip to 4th and we're in serious danger of missing the playoffs entirely, although the Wings are not doing too well these days and neither are the Islanders. Basically, the Caps look like the only serious threat that is still behind us in the standings. If they keep winning, they are ahead of us, so tonight is a huge opportunity to turn that around, given that they are in Toronto.

All of that said, if we don't come ready to play tonight, the Habs could definitely beat us. They just got the best of Seattle and Colorado on the road.

As I alluded to earlier, our remaining strength of schedule is .497, tied for the 3rd weakest in the entire Nhl. Absolutely zero excuses now. We have to get the two points in these next couple games and for the most part moving forward.

If Seeler and Drysdale come back and replace Ginning and Attard i would like to say they played very well while they where on the team.
So who pair up with Seeler now, Johnson? It'll be great to have better options, it makes it easier to not have to worry about inserting Staal or Ristolinan into the line up!

Im not sure who would pair up with who but keeping Mark Staal off the ice and having Risto only for emergencies is a solid goal to have.

Fedotov's contract has been terminated and it looks like he is headed to the Flyers along with Kolotov!!

Despite all of the disallowed goals and missed calls by the officials, that was embarrassing tonight. We don't even belong in the playoffs if we can't win this kind of game at Montreal. Just not aggressive enough tonight. They wanted it more than us and it showed. Still, Primeau was very fortunate to get out of there having only given up one goal.

That said, we keep getting bailed out by the poor play of those in pursuit. The Caps and Wings both go down too, but to much better teams. Now we've let the Isles right back into the race as well.

Idk what it is, but sometimes our team just doesn't come with enough intensity or killer instinct until their backs are against the wall and they absolutely have to.

I think getting Seeler back could drag us into the fight a bit and Drysdale could be a potential boost to the power play and our transition game. Either way, I'd like to get Johnson out of there asap. For a veteran and Cup winner, he's terrible...Lol (see our 2nd goal against tonight).

Outshot them 29-15.

Sometimes you win with a few seconds left in the game.
And sometimes you don't.

Briere and Fedotov press conference for vorhees in a little bit. So he’s here!

Have to imagine he slots in as the backup pretty quickly. Seemed like the Flyers wanted Kolosov to spend some time in the AHL rather than make the jump to NHL backup. But obviously that’s a problem, now solved by Fedotov I’m guessing!

Good news all the way around, these guys have been playing already so it won't be like their coming in cold. Nice to have better options then Sandstrum.
