Please let this be one of the real rumors!

Yeah, this was a rumor a week ago, but anything to do with Russia is tricky, so I'm going to wait to get obnoxiously enthusiastic until his feet hit American soil.

I totally get your point,
However I remember being one of the few on here who wasn't thrilled with the Torts hiring to begin with. I realized he was a build character type of guy and thought he would damage some of the young kids, but to be honest, they're doing the opposite. They are growing into solid players. I for one am not buying into the rumor that Coots wasn't talked to by Torts or other management or both, just doesn't fit their MO's IMO. The media is a circus and like you said, chose your sources wisely.

My hope is by the time all these young kids come together, plus whatever picks we can get in the next few years are solid or we hit a jackpot or two, Torts would be willing to step up a role and hopefully the next coach is solid and maybe a little more of an X's and 0's guy.
I just hope that Torts stays the coach until his contract runs out .. This style of play just suits our game and we are playing with the best teams in the league and performing well.

I love watching this years team. The never give up style of play never gets old.

Please play the same way against the lower level teams in the next few weeks.

Screw you Washington try losing once in a while!

I agree. In general, he seems to be doing a good job. Guys like Farabee, Konecny, even Frost, seem to be developing well. And of course, he's gotten a lot from the grinders like Seeler, Hathaway, Poehling, etc. I like the way they're playing, the quick strike offense suits them. I think I saw the other day they're 2nd in the league in shots against, so the D has been stout too.

It's just the stuff with higher end talent. Rattling Couturier's cage is one thing, and the inspiration for these posts. Shit like that can't happen with Michkov though. He's the most important prospect the Flyers have had since Lindros. Maybe he's long gone by then anyway.

If nothing else, Foerster, Brink, Tippett, Frost and York are making this fun to watch. Add TK, Sanheim and Zamula, and you have a team that doesn't quit. What a change from years past!!

Please stop with the Torts and Michkov stuff. This is the second time I've seen you say that and its just you projecting away. Several hundred players played for Torts who love him other than the 8 or 9 players who dont like him over his 23 year career. So the odds are in our favor that Michkov will love him. Even if he is still coaching our team in the 3 years it will take for Michkov to get here.

The Kolosov rumors are gaining traction, so maybe we will see him on the roster pretty soon.

If all of the rumors are true, Hart payed a terrible price just for a few minutes of groping and sech!! Athletes have to get it through their thick skulls that because you are practically a millionaire and often multi-millionaire the day you sign your first, and subsequently, future contracts, you don't go cavorting around in the clubs after work whippin your penis out to the first bimbo that comes by flashing her body parts to get you to be her next gold mine!!

Every bitch and her sisters and friends are going to be attracted to you like flys on poop and bees on honey because of that money! Everyone of us knows, that the guys who make it in professional sports and entertainment drop off the grid (or nearly so) and stay clear of nightclubs, casinos, and all-nighter restaurants at home cities and in away cities.

If you don't, you will lose everything you worked hard to gain-just like Hart found out. If he was still with us, we would def be in the playoffs and many of the close games we lost this season would have been a W with the tandem of Hart and Ersson in net!!
