Poehling: 1 goal last 12 games
Couturier: 0 goals last 12 games
Farabee: 1 goal last 18 games

Most of the top of the lineup is ice cold right now. Poehling and Cates you don't really rely on for offense, but the rest of those guys, Couturier included, need to produce for the Flyers to win games.

None of the guys you have listed are taking up 9.3% of our salary cap or anywhere near that number.

Gotta start getting into playoff mode today. No holding back. You have a veteran coach with tons of playoff experience plus a cup. You have several players on the roster who have tasted playoff hockey and also won a cup. The leadership is there, now it's up to the youngsters to see how hungry they truly are and how much growth they have made to date. Be interesting for sure.one things for certain, feels awesome to be this far into the season and still have a lot to cheer for!

Trust me, he wasn't the problem, this whole team was just doing nothing in the defensive zone! Staal got beat bad on the first goal, dude is way to slow and will get lit up constantly. Once your down by three in less than 12 minutes into the first period you have to change your whole game plan.

Johnson obviously a depth add to make up for Risto/Drysdale injuries and Walker deal. But he's bad.

Nobody seems to want the last couple spots in the east. The Wings have lost 7 in a row to fall out. Pens have lost 7 of 9. Devils 5 of 7. The Flyers basically playing .500 hockey might be enough with the lead they built up in the first half.

Flyers definitely showing some cracks though. Certainly going to be out-talented over the next couple weeks (like last night's game). And the patchwork defense with Risto, Seeler, and Drysdale hurt really just leaves Sanheim and York as no-doubt-about it NHL-ers.
