A bunch of players that they want to showcase for trades, or to see if they're worth keeping or finding out what they might have in some younguns, lot of stuff going on right now...

true but we still need to a competent and somewhat competitive team on the field, and we have some bad holes. we have a projected outfield of Willie, Adolis and Kole that with the exception of Adolis has a history of not being able to stay on the field and the other 2 have total fielding runs above average of -14 and -19 for 2021 which not a vote of confidence. we are well below average at 3rd base, and we have no one to fill the DH

we really should address 3rd Base too. someone on a 1 year deal.

My guess is Willie is primary DH:COF and Kole is COF/sec DH. Thinking we are still in market for another OF

Also I am still counting this as last year of rebuild and doubt we stack our club with a bunch of 1 year deals that really don’t dramatically improve the club

not wanting to overhaul the whole team in a single off-season just want something better than last year. Pitching-wise we are worse off, 3rd base is a black hole, willie and kole should not be on the field at the corners more than twice a week each and we have no DH. granted the center of the batting order is going to hit so we will score better than last year

Wouldn’t mind having him at all. 3B/DH
He can hit very well
Has 3 years of team control left too!
Age 29-31 seasons.
I would love to get him
