I have a feeling that a month from now, the IL will sort this out. I think Beede gets cut
He's leaving his mark on multiple teams.Former Giant Jose Godoy was DFA’d by the Twins today.
Kinda like my dog when I take her on a walk…He's leaving his mark on multiple teams.
Probably because there hasn't been much to talk about yet. I don't know if he'll start in the ACL or be a back up in San Jose.Bericoto? Don’t think I have ever heard of this kid…
Looks like he was injured for a good part of ‘21.Probably because there hasn't been much to talk about yet. I don't know if he'll start in the ACL or be a back up in San Jose.

I typically don’t care about stats in ST.Baggs just now:
The Giants' 5 starters have looked as dialed in as any rotation I've ever covered in spring. Webb, Rodón, TonyD, Wood, Cobb combined: 1.80 ERA in 13 games (45 IP, 34 H, 3 HR, 10 BB, 57 SO). And one of the HRs off Webb came when he was messing around w/a cutter he doesn't throw.
Which is why I wonder if he'll repeat the ACL and start there. We'll see.Looks like he was injured for a good part of ‘21.
VERY SSS, but he looks like he has a bit of a bat. And at age 20, he might just be a legit prospect.

Good signing by the Sox. If he isn’t pulling down 20M+, he can be a good risk for a team that needs an arm.White Sox Sign Johnny Cueto To Minor League Deal

Yeah, when I read this my first reaction was "why didn't FZ do this?" Then I remembered that he's been steadily declining for four years, is 36, and it's not just the money (negligible if he doesn't make the roster, not a lot if he does) but rather the opportunity cost of having him blocking someone. That, and maybe he wasn't willing to come here on a minor league contract with our SP depth. I mean, is he a better bet than Junis? Than Hjelle? Than Marte or CarMart? Probably not.Good signing by the Sox. If he isn’t pulling down 20M+, he can be a good risk for a team that needs an arm.
